Does SocialAPIs use Facebook logins or cookies?
No. SocialAPIs reads only what a logged-out visitor can see: no Facebook or Instagram logins, no session cookies, no fake accounts. That's also why private profiles, private groups, friends-only posts and messages aren't available.
How to do it with SocialAPIs
On your side: you sign up with Google or email, get an API key and send it in the x-api-token header. You never give us a Facebook or Instagram password or token, and no Meta app is involved.
Good to know
- Your own Page's insights, ad accounts or DMs need Meta's Graph API with your login; we don't offer that.
- Some tools get login-only data by running accounts; we don't, so some data simply isn't available here.
- What you do with the data (storage, personal data under GDPR) is your responsibility.
