By accessing or using SocialAPIs ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

SocialAPIs provides application programming interfaces (APIs) that enable access to publicly available social media data. Our services include:

Facebook data extraction (pages, groups, posts, comments)
Social media analytics and insights
Lead generation tools
MCP server integration for AI agents

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and promptly update your account information
Maintain the security of your account and API keys
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. API Usage and Restrictions

4.1 Permitted Use

You may use the API to:

Build applications and integrations for legitimate business purposes
Analyze social media trends and metrics
Generate leads from public business information

4.2 Prohibited Use

You may NOT use the API to:

Access private or non-public information
Scrape data in violation of platform terms of service

Circumvent rate limits or access controls

Infringe on intellectual property rights
Distribute malware or harmful code
Compete directly with SocialAPIs using our data

4.3 Rate Limits

API usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan. Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary suspension or additional charges. Current limits are documented in our API documentation.

5. Pricing and Payment

5.1 Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription plans with different features and usage limits. Prices are listed on our pricing page and are subject to change with notice.

5.2 Payment Terms

Payments are processed securely through Stripe
Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
You are responsible for all applicable taxes

5.3 Refunds

Paid plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If SocialAPIs does not meet your needs within fourteen (14) calendar days of the initial payment, email support@socialapis.io and we will issue a full refund to the original payment method. No forms, no friction. The 14-day window applies to each new paid subscription independently (the first paid month or year); subsequent renewals of an existing subscription are not covered. One-off credit top-ups and lifetime grants are non-refundable once the credits have been delivered to your account.

5.4 Credits

Certain features require credits, which are deducted from your account balance. Unused credits do not roll over between billing periods unless specified in your plan.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by SocialAPIs and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your content as necessary to provide the Service.

6.3 Third-Party Content

Data retrieved through our API may be subject to the terms and conditions of the original platforms. You are responsible for complying with applicable third-party terms.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
Data retrieved will be accurate or complete
The Service will meet your specific requirements
Any errors will be corrected

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOCIALAPIS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
Service interruptions or data breaches
Third-party actions or content
Any other damages arising from use of the Service

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SocialAPIs, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any third-party rights
Your content or applications built using the API

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including:

Breach of these Terms
Fraudulent or illegal activity
Non-payment of fees
At our sole discretion

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SocialAPIs operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
