How SocialAPIs pricing works

Every plan covers the same 50+ endpoints — Facebook pages, groups, posts, Marketplace, the Meta Ad Library, Instagram profiles, and more. What changes between tiers is the monthly API-call budget, the request-rate limit, and the level of support. Pick the smallest tier that fits your traffic; upgrades and downgrades take effect immediately and prorate automatically. No credit card is required to start on the Free plan.

What each plan includes

Free — 200 API calls/month

The Free tier is designed for evaluation and prototyping. You get 200 API calls each calendar month with no credit card, rate-limited to 1,000 req / hour. Every public endpoint is available — Facebook pages, groups, posts, Marketplace, the Meta Ad Library, Instagram profiles. There is no time-limited trial; the Free tier renews monthly. When you hit the cap, requests return a 403 with code: "insufficient_credits" and you can upgrade or wait for the next reset.

Pro — $4.99/month, 1,500 API calls

Pro is the most popular plan for solo developers and side projects. 1,500 monthly credits, a 1 req / sec rate cap, and access to top-up packages if you spike past your monthly budget. The priority-queue treatment kicks in here, so your traffic is served ahead of free-tier traffic during upstream rate limits.

Ultra — $49/month, 30,000 API calls

Ultra suits production applications and market-intelligence pipelines that need predictable monthly cost. The 30,000-call budget covers most automated monitoring use cases — tracking competitor Facebook pages, pulling Marketplace listings on a schedule, or maintaining a Meta Ads Library cache. The rate cap steps up to 5 req / sec, 5× the Pro ceiling, so you can parallelise harder when a batch run kicks off.

Mega — $179/month, 120,000 API calls

Mega is the highest self-serve tier. 120,000 monthly calls and a 10 req / sec rate cap, suitable for agencies running multi-client dashboards, research teams indexing large datasets, or AI agents that monitor social-media activity 24/7. Beyond this volume, custom Enterprise plans start at 20+ req / sec with a dedicated rate-limit pool, a 99.99% uptime SLA, contractual data-processing terms, and a named account manager.

Enterprise — custom

Enterprise plans are tailored to your volume, compliance, and integration requirements. Typical asks include a higher rate limit, IP allowlisting, contractual SLAs, dedicated support channels (Slack Connect), custom endpoints, and bulk data delivery. To start that conversation, contact sales with a sketch of your use case and monthly call volume.

Pricing FAQ

What counts as one API call?

Every successful request to one of our endpoints — for example fetching a Facebook page's details or one batch of posts — consumes one credit. Failed requests (4xx, 5xx) and rate-limit rejections do not consume credits. The X-SocialAPIs-Credits-Used response header tells you exactly how much was deducted on each call.

Do unused credits roll over to next month?

Subscription credits reset on your billing cycle and do not roll over. Top-up credits (bought as one-off packages) and lifetime credits are kept separately and do roll over indefinitely. We drain in this order: monthly budget → top-up → lifetime, so your monthly allotment is always used first.

Can I change plans anytime?

Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately and prorate based on remaining days in your billing cycle. Downgrades take effect at the end of the current cycle so you keep the higher budget for what you've already paid for.

Is there a free trial of the paid plans?

No trial — but the Free tier (200 calls / month, no card) is permanent. It runs against the same production endpoints with the same data quality, so you can validate every aspect of integration before paying for the first time.

Do you offer refunds?

Paid plans come with a 14-day money-back guarantee. If SocialAPIs doesn't work for your project within two weeks of payment, email support@socialapis.io for a full refund. No forms, no friction.

How do top-up packages work?

If you spike past your monthly budget, top-up packages let you buy extra credits without upgrading your subscription. The packages are visible in the dashboard once you have an active paid plan. Top-up credits don't expire and stack on top of your monthly allotment.

Do you offer lifetime plans?

Occasionally — we run targeted lifetime deals for early customers and through partnership channels. Lifetime credits never expire and are kept in a separate bucket from subscription credits, so a lifetime grant compounds on top of whatever monthly plan you're on. If you're interested, reach out.
