I built this because most social media APIs are frustrating to work with. Things fail silently, the response shape changes without warning, and good luck getting a real reply from support. I got tired of dealing with that on my own projects — so I built what I wanted to use. Last month SocialAPIs.io handled 7.2M+ calls, and I still write the code and answer the support emails myself.

I started out as a data scientist in France, then moved into Python and large-scale web scraping for clients full time. Around 5,000+ hours and ~50 projects later — one of which was ReturnQueen, where I owned the Amazon integration — I had a pretty clear picture of what makes scrapers actually useful, and what makes them fall apart at scale.
Somewhere in there I put up a Facebook Scraper API on RapidAPI as a side project. It grew. Last month it handled 7.2M+ calls for 364 customers (screenshots a bit further down). The reviews and the rating on the listing are public if you want to look first.
SocialAPIs.io is what happens when you take the same engineering and extend it to every social platform — same auth, same response shape, same person on the other end of support. Founded in 2026.

When you email support, you reach me or my co-engineer. There's no tier-1 to escalate past. There's no roadmap getting pushed by a board. We don't add features because a competitor did. We add them when they actually help an existing integration stay working.
Plenty of competing APIs are better funded. Fine. We're not trying to win on headcount. We try to win on the one thing that matters once you've integrated us: whether the response you got last month still parses next month.
