How it works
- Create a free SocialAPIs account, then apply: your payout method (PayPal or Wise), the email of that account, and the code you want in your link.
- Once approved you get your link,
socialapis.io/?ref=yourcode(orsocialapis.io/r/yourcode). Add?ref=yourcodeto any page: docs, pricing, a free tool, a blog post. - A visitor who signs up within 60 days is yours. Each payment they make for 12 months adds a commission to your dashboard, held 30 days, then approved.
- Every month we pay approved commissions of $50 or more by PayPal or Wise, and email you the reference.
Affiliate terms
Version 2026-10-29. Applying means you accept them.
- Commission: 25% of what each referred customer pays, excluding tax, for 12 months from their first payment (subscriptions, top-ups, lifetime packs). Refunds and chargebacks are deducted, also from commissions already paid (from your next payout).
- Attribution: the first affiliate link a visitor opens, for 60 days, in the same browser, for a new account only. Existing customers can't be referred.
- Payouts: monthly, by PayPal or Wise, once your approved balance reaches $50, after a 30-day hold per payment. You handle any tax due on your earnings. Payout details are changed only by writing to support from your account email.
- No self-referrals: not your own accounts, not your colleagues', no cookie stuffing, no fake signups. Those commissions are voided and the account closed.
- No brand bidding: don't bid on "SocialAPIs" or "socialapis.io" in Google or Bing ads, and no ads or pages that pretend to be us.
- No spam: no unsolicited email or DMs, no comment spam, no coupon or deal sites without our written approval.
- Disclose it: say "affiliate link" (or similar) next to your link, as the FTC and the ASA require.
- Honest claims only: SocialAPIs gives Facebook and Instagram public data through one REST API, at the prices on /pricing. Calls that return data are charged, errors aren't. Don't say "unlimited", don't call us an official Meta partner, don't promise data we don't return.
- Our call: we approve or decline applications, and can close an affiliate account that breaks these rules. We can change these terms; the version you accepted is kept with your account, and changes apply to payments made after they are published here.
Questions
How much do SocialAPIs affiliates earn?
25% of what each customer you refer pays, excluding tax, for 12 months from their first payment: subscriptions, credit top-ups and lifetime packs. A customer on Mega ($179/month) earns you $44.75 a month, $537 over 12 months.
How long does the referral cookie last?
60 days, first touch: the first affiliate link a visitor opens counts. The customer must sign up in the same browser within that time. Once they sign up, every payment they make for 12 months counts.
When are affiliates paid?
Each commission is held 30 days (our 14-day money-back guarantee and chargebacks), then paid monthly by PayPal or Wise once your balance reaches $50. Refunded payments are taken back from unpaid or future commissions.
Can I refer myself or my own company?
No. Self-referrals, colleagues' accounts, cookie stuffing and fake signups are not allowed: those commissions are voided and the affiliate account closed.
